My communication style

My communication style is direct, empathetic and supportive. Since I have extensive experience in special needs communities and cross-generational relationship challenges, I take pride in supporting clients facing the complexities involved in overcoming anxiety, depression, self-image and self-esteem issues.

My journey to mental healthcare

I came to the US when I was 20 years old with a dream to continue my education and live the American Dream. On this journey, I struggled with anxiety and panic attacks, depression and grief. I learned how to create a life worth living for myself and my children. I am passionate about empowering other people on a similar journey do the same.

My goals for you

I guide clients to explore and create realistic and achievable goals that would make a meaningful difference in their life. I then facilitate clients successfully achieving their defined goals by implementing evidence-based strategies and techniques as well as employing my natural ability to connect with and put them at ease.

Our first session

Starting therapy can feel daunting, so my immediate goal is to make the space feel comfortable, grounded and conversational. My hope is that by the end of the session is that you leave feeling heard, a little less overwhelmed, and with a clear sense of how we might begin to tackle things together.
