My communication style

I am open and honest with all of my clients from day one and let them know what they can expect from sessions. I can be direct if needed but will never push you unless you are ready. I am an active listener and empathetic when clients discuss their feelings and concerns.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a clinician came from my interest in Psychology and how the mind works as well as my desire to help others. Working in an outpatient mental health clinic as a case manager with clients with severe mental health disorders and seeing their struggle accessing care was what motivated me to apply for my master's degree.

My goals for you

I feels that treatment goals need to be something that the client wants to work on and I just help to turn them into realistic and achievable goals.

Our first session

Our first session is a time to get to know each other and why you are seeking counseling. It is a formal assessment, and we explore what goals you want to focus on. I like to end the session with a little bit of information of what to expect for our first one on one appointments after the assessment and treatment plan are completed.
