My communication style

I bring a calm and grounded presence to each session. I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, understood, and validated. My goal is to meet you where you are in a non-judgmental manner and work at a pace that feels right for you.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always viewed myself as a helper. Through several different work opportunities, I was able to learn where I fit best, which is what led me to Social Work. I have worked with adults in their transitional housing phase as well as young adults who were navigating the transition from foster care to independent adulthood.

My goals for you

I believe goal setting is a collaborative process. I listen carefully to understand what is important to you and ask what areas you want to focus on. If needed, I provide suggestions and ideas, but ultimately the goals are set by you and what feels appropriate.

Our first session

You can expect a calm, judgment-free space. I will ask questions and gather information so that I can identify how we might work best together. This session will allow us to get to know each other to ensure that your needs and goals are aligned with my approach.
