My journey to mental healthcare

Being a member of the LGBTQ+ community, which is a vulnerable population, I have realized the value and need of mental health therapy to reduce symptoms and foster support. I believe in destigmatizing mental health and helping the LGBTQ+ population by providing hope when people feel hopeless.

My goals for you

I believe goals are meant to be purposeful, realistic, attainable, collaborative, and meaningful to aid in behavioral change. I use positive reinforcement to help clients change desired behaviors and increase their ability to cope.

Our first session

The first session includes asking open-ended questions about the client, including coping activities, symptoms, etc. Discussing goals for therapy, expectations, and more. Discuss the process of therapy, which involves a journey into early childhood trauma to discover and modify unconscious desires that cause certain behaviors.
