My name is Patricia Siladi and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness practices to help my clients feel better and move toward healing.
My approach
My approach to therapy is tailored to your specific needs. In our work, my objective is for us to work to get to know you better. I most often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness practices to learn more about your views of yourself and the world around you so we can work together to create a path forward.
My focus
I find that my approach to therapy is best suited for adults who may be experiencing difficulty adjusting to stressful life transitions which sometimes manifest as feelings of anxiousness and depression. I work with my clients to teach skills to help them navigate these challenges and improve their quality of life. By learning skills and discovering more about yourself you will be better able to get more control over your life now and increase positive feelings for the future.
My communication style
My communication style is calm and judgment-free. I am a human first and take pride in creating relationships with my clients where you feel comfortable, heard, seen, and cared for.
My journey to mental healthcare
I decided to become a therapist because I wanted to spark change in communities and the world. By helping individuals have the quality of life and hope, the world becomes a better place, not just for the individual but as a whole. I've always been someone that my friends and family come to for a listening ear during hard times and enjoy being a trusted and loyal person in people's lives. I appreciate the opportunity and trust to watch individuals find joy and become the best versions of themselves.
My goals for you
Collaborative goal setting is an important part of my therapeutic approach. Once we form a relationship and build trust, we will work together to understand what you hope to get from your experience with therapy and create goals to track your progress.
My first session with you
During our first session together you can expect us to spend the majority of time discussing what your most recent experience has been like for you. I will be asking you questions to better understand you and how I can help you move forward. The first session is about us making an initial connection and starting to build our therapeutic relationship.
