Hi there, I'm Valynn!

I help individuals with self-defeating thought patterns take an active role in creating the life they want. My mission is to empower those who feel out of control and overly disappointed with their life to gain clarity about what actions are in their power and take purposeful steps toward greater emotional well-being.

My focus

I help teens and professional women who feel stuck in their thoughts and actions. I work with clients who want to manage stress, build courage when making decisions, and take action to live a more energized and aligned life.

My approach

I guide clients through a framework that helps them understand what blocks them from taking action and having honest relationships. We practice self-reflection, conflict resolution, effective communication, and compassion skills. Clients test new skills, observe outcomes, and rebuild trust in their decision-making.

My communication style

I offer a warm, caring, and non-judgmental approach with helpful reminders and compassion practices. I help clients clear the fog in their mind so they can see what actions are possible to make meaningful change.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey started during adolescence as one of the oldest siblings, where many responsibilities called for me to exercise responsible decision-making early on. This path led me to dedicate my career to helping others navigate their own decisions and create lives aligned with their values.

I take a collaborative approach to help clients uncover areas in life they want to enhance, align their actions with their core values, and develop small action steps that lead them to see more of the life that has always been meant for them.
