Hello, I'm Leila Atiyeh, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I specialize in relationships (all forms), multicultural matters, life transitions, confidence, work/life balance, purpose & meaning, value-based living, and stress management.
My approach
I aim to provide a warm and accepting space where you feel comfortable expressing yourself without fear of judgment. My approach is client-centered, in which you determine the focus of our sessions. I will infuse relevant skills in whichever direction our session goes. I tailor my approach to your needs utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Gottman Method.

I enjoy working with people who suffer from Aging, Anxiety, Codependency, Coping Skills, Cultural Stress, Depression, Divorce, Family Conflict, Gender Identity, Grief, Infidelity, Job Stress, LGBTQIA+, Life Transitions, Older Adults, Peer Relationships, Racial Identity, Racial Trauma, Relationship Issues, Self Esteem, Stress, Women's Issues, Sexual Orientation, and who are motivated and ready to improve their lives.

My journey to mental healthcare
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the corporate world for 13 years. My passion for mental health led me to switch careers! I love getting to know others and helping people achieve their goals.
