Hi there, I'm Hitomi!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in supporting adults of all ages in navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and OCD. My approach explores personal experiences, identity, and the intersectionality of these with mental health symptoms.

My focus

I work with people with diverse symptoms and backgrounds, but am especially passionate about being a space for those from minority populations, such as BIPOC and queer individuals who may face adversity as a result of their identity. I also feel deeply connected to working with clients who are neurodivergent and learning to navigate this space.

My approach

I believe that no one type of therapy is the "answer", but that the relationship and the space of therapy along with the use of evidence-based therapies personalized to you will give you the best opportunity for growth. Types of therapy used will range from ACT, DBT, and Compassion-Focused, to trauma-focused therapies like Somatic Therapy and EMDR.
