I particularly enjoy working with teens and young adults as they discover their truest selves and navigate the complexities of life. Whether it is anxiety, depression, or overcoming a painful past, you are not alone, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

My approach

I believe in a collaborative, strengths-based, psychodynamic approach that starts with searching for the root of what you are struggling with. Once we understand ourselves and our contexts better, we are more equipped to find resolutions or relief in the here and now.

My communication style

My first and foremost priority is to help you feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. I exude warmth, open-mindedness, non-judgment, and care from a genuine place.

My journey to mental healthcare

Therapy has been an integral part of my life, and I've experienced its impact and value firsthand. I've always been a helper and a feeler. I am passionate about advocating for the mental health of those who are marginalized, overlooked, or unable to speak for themselves.

During the first few sessions, we will get familiar with each other and start discussing your goals. We will prioritize and start working towards them in a way that feels productive yet not overwhelming.

The first session's purpose is for you to see if I am the best fit for you. I will ask questions to get to know you, what you're facing, and what you would like to work on. There is also an opportunity for you to ask me questions about the process, especially if therapy is new to you.
