I am a bilingual therapist who has been providing mental health services for over 20 years. I use a variety of treatment modalities, such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed, and Reality Therapy, to help patients achieve their mental health goals and feel better.

My therapeutic style and approach vary depending on the client's treatment goals and what works best for them. I use the modality that best suits the client's needs. I also like to implement a cultural approach when needed, for clients needing cultural validation.

My communication style is assertive and direct, but compassionate and warm. I believe in making clients feel safe and understood, as well as holding them accountable for reaching their treatment goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

Helping people, planting healthy seeds for future generations, and helping people improve their lives are what drives me to do this work. I want to help people feel validated, heard, and safe, and guide them to living healthier lifestyles.

My approach to goal setting is working with clients to determine what goals are priorities for them and developing a treatment plan together.

Our first session

During our first session, you should expect us to spend the majority of the time reviewing your psychosocial history, your current symptoms and stressors, and how you are presently feeling. We will discuss what to expect from treatment, go over your expectations of therapy, and answer any questions.
