My journey to mental healthcare

I was always a person who insisted I would not become a therapist. However, I live in a very rural community and noted a huge need for providers. I obtained my education and developed a passion for aiding people in their time of need. I value my ability to connect with people and become a part of their journey toward better mental health.

Whether it is a crisis or a general reason for wanting to engage in therapy, I value my ability to connect with people and become a part of their journey toward better mental health.

Our first session

In our first session, we will talk a bit about your history. I normally ask what brought you to therapy, if you have been before, and what you are most nervous about. The first session is really for us to build a foundation for our therapeutic journey.
