Hi there, I'm Elena!

I provide my clients with a warm, non-judgmental space to explore their thoughts and feelings. Together, we strengthen relationships and heal areas that have caused pain and trauma. Through our work, my clients become more aware of their inner strengths and build more rewarding, fulfilling lives.

My focus

My passion as a therapist is to bring healing into people's lives and create peace and clarity. I specialize in working with adults, assisting them through painful life experiences, including childhood trauma, traumatic losses, or just a need to refocus and bring life and relationships to their highest potential.

My approach

My training includes a variety of modalities. I am well-versed in being able to find the right approach(es) for each individual, taking into account background experiences, and working towards meeting the goals my clients want to work on.

My communication style

My clients frequently tell me that they feel safe talking to me and that they appreciate my calm and centered approach. I value having my clients take the lead in bringing up whatever they choose to discuss with me and moving at the pace that my clients create.

My journey to mental healthcare

My career as a therapist was generated by my love for my grandfather. I sat by his side as he embarked on a very long and difficult end-of-life diagnosis. He helped me understand what true compassion was; we talked for hours and hours. He helped me learn the value of walking through pain and finding peace.

My goals for you

My clients are the experts in the therapy session; they guide me. They know what they would like to work on, and I follow them, offering guidance, questions, and observations. Often, what happens is that once we get started and develop our relationship, deeper issues and goals surface.

Our first session

During the first session, I welcome my clients into our session. We are meeting for the first time, so I need to ensure that my client is feeling comfortable. I ask what brings them to therapy, and together we begin to talk about how I might be able to help them.
