My name is Shayma Mortazavi, Licenced Marriage and Family Therapist, working in this field past decade. I specialize in helping adults who have faced severe psychological challenges, depression, mood instability, anxiety, anger management, work stress, relationship and parenting issues, phase of life adjustments, grief and loss, and cultural transitions experiences. I also have extensive knowledge of addiction and recovery.

As an experienced psychotherapist, I am dedicated to serving the needs of my clients. My approach is no none-sense reality-based treatment that is bold, direct, and yet highly empathetic, leaving those I serve inspired and filled with hope.

In my treatment, I am genuine, direct, and bold. I respect the value of your time and your desire for growth and change. In doing so, I incorporate a wide range of innovative and creative self directed projects to practice the principles covered in our sessions.
My first session with you
Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another. Your personal history will be explored in a variety of areas. This will be provided in an atmosphere that is safe and judgment-free. During these early sessions, we will determine a path of growth and development that will navigate our future sessions.
