My approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing from multiple modalities to meet your unique needs. I create a space where you can explore challenges and work toward meaningful change.

My focus

I am comfortable treating a diverse range of clients and concerns with the exception of psychotic disorders.

My approach

I incorporate Person-Centered, CBT, Psychodynamic, Inner Child Work, Solution Focused, Attachment Theory, Art Therapy, and DBT. I am EMDR certified and specialize in trauma, depression, and anxiety. The lens through which I assess client problems falls under two categories: psychodynamic or behavioral. This choice is up to you.

My communication style

Calm, relaxing, validating, and unconditional acceptance. The communication style will be unconditional positive regard, but clients will be challenged to meet their goals if there are obvious barriers, avoidance behaviors, or challenges to their goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

Being a therapist is meaningful work! Helping others provides such a sense of peace and calmness. Some people have no one; therefore, knowing you may be the only person in that client's life to help him or her through their struggles provides such a sense of fulfillment.

I use a lot of Solution-Focused Methods and continue to reassess to make sure clients are making steps to meet those goals.

We'll begin with a thorough initial assessment where I'll learn about your concerns, history, and goals. This helps us create a personalized plan that fits your needs and sets the foundation for our work together.
