I try to be clear and open with my communication style. I practice supportive active listening. As an empathetic partner, I will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences, emotions, and actions. I give and receive feedback.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into therapy began with a curiosity about human resilience and a desire to help others find strength through life’s challenges. Healing my own trauma and working with clients affected by it showed me the power of therapy. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and lasting change if they want it.

My goals for you

I help you set goals you want and believe are realistic. I use your personal feedback as well as outcome measures to determine if those goals are being met. I adapt and update your therapy goals and plan to remain meaningful and supportive as you achieve new insights and move toward where you want to be. We collaborate to decide when therapy ends.

Our first session

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and what brings you to therapy. It’s normal to feel nervous or to dislike retelling your story if this is not your first time. I'll move at your pace and take things one step at a time. Instead of acting as an authoritative expert, I’m here to be your guide throughout this journey.
