I am an evidence-based social worker who has worked with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify and support their strengths, while providing a space to process difficult life experiences and challenges.
My focus
I have worked with a wide range of individuals, including children and adolescents, as well as individuals living with HIV and Geriatrics. I specialize in working with generalized anxiety disorder, PTSD, depression, and panic disorder.
My approach
I assist those I work with in reducing symptoms related to trauma, depression, grief, and anxiety using Relational Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions, and Mindfulness/compassion-based practices. I also work with couples to learn to manage conflict and strengthen their relationship using evidence-based approaches.
