My communication style

I value honesty, transparency and kindness. I also believe healthy boundaries are important for any effective relationship. I tend to be warm, empathetic and enjoy cultivating rapport.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have worked in health and human services for over 20+ years. I worked for 15+ with brain injury survivors, and decided to become an LCSW so I could expand my services. I have a wide range of experience with different populations and presenting problems. My hope to is to ensure people know they are not alone and there is always hope.

My goals for you

I think the first step in reaching your goals is to ensure they are SMART goals and we have a good plan to get there. The road might not be a straight one, but we need to have guardrails to help us make sure we are on the right path. I think it is a great foundation for you to know what it is you would like therapy to change for you.

Our first session

First session will include introductions, some rapport building, answering any questions, and then getting to know you! We will complete an intake assessment, discuss presenting problem and symptoms, and work to identify treatment goals. Most important is to ensure we can establish and build on our therapuetic relationship throughout treatment.
