I approach my work by listening carefully and with empathy to set collaborative goals based on what is most important to you and the important people in your life. I strongly believe in creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment in the work we do. My style is fairly directive, and I lean on an active and open approach in communications

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into therapy began with a curiosity about the human mind and spirit. Inspired by the unique healing journey of each of my clients, I have expanded to offer both traditional and holistic approaches to addressing the impact of trauma – in all its forms – upon the body and mind

My goals for you

Therapy is comparable to emotional strength training, similar to physical training but dealing with emotions, beliefs, and behavior patterns. It is rigorous and growth-oriented. I help clients achieve their goals through developing greater awareness, insight, and regulatory skills to support independent control of their lives

Our first session

Our first session is an opportunity for you to feel me out and get a sense of how we might work together. During the intake process, I'll be getting a sense of your concerns and how I might be a resource to you. I encourage you to ask as many questions as you need to determine whether I'm the right fit for your needs
