My communication style

You can expect me to be your biggest supporter while creating space for accountability in patterns that may be harming you. I communicate in a manner that is compassionate, validating, and sometimes humorous because I truly care. This is a space where you can be yourself.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was inspired by mental health professionals I saw on reality TV and heartbroken watching a close friend struggle with psychosis and substance abuse while facing stigma. This led me to pursue community mental health, where I found my calling in supporting others through their challenges.

My goals for you

You know yourself best. I strive to collaborate with you throughout treatment to ensure your clinical needs are met. I like to take the first couple of sessions to get to know you and your concerns before identifying the best focus or goal for therapy.

Our first session

I know starting therapy can be anxiety-inducing, so I begin with a quick introduction and go over the intake agenda so you know what to expect. After that, I'll ask you to share your concerns and reasons for seeking therapy. If possible, we can identify goals for treatment.
