I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in both Los Angeles, CA, and Hawai'i. I work with clients throughout both states via telehealth. I work with adults with a focus on gerontology, aging, chronic illness, as well as women's health and perinatal mental health.
My focus
I have over a decade of experience working with older adults and those dealing with chronic or terminal illnesses. I also have experience working with women dealing with perinatal mental health needs and the life transitions that come with parenthood. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenthood, and women's issues.
My approach
My approach to therapy is client-driven and varies based on each person's individual goals and needs. I often use cognitive behavioral strategies along with various strategies from acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and solutions-focused techniques, as well as some coping tools from EMDR.
