My communication style
My intent is to create a warm, friendly, and trusting atmosphere in which clients feel comfortable quickly and can begin the process of healing.
My journey to mental healthcare
After working in the corporate world for 10 years, I craved a more significant purpose in life. I wanted to make a difference for others but wasn't sure how. After several varied counseling jobs, I found my passion in working with clients, youth, and adults, in overcoming mental health issues. It was then that I pursued a Masters and a License in Clinical Social Work.
My goals for you
I believe goal setting to be a collaborative endeavor in which the therapist and the client come together with agreed-upon and attainable objectives.
My first session with you
Clients can expect a big smile and a warm welcome along with a sincere curiosity for why the clients are seeking therapy and also where they come from.
