Hi there, I'm Jessica!

I am an LCSW who has been active in the mental health field for over 15 years, providing therapy to a range of populations. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship. My focus is on collaborating with and supporting you in strengthening your sense of self, as well as equipping you with skills to improve your overall well-being.

I am passionate about supporting adults with managing ongoing mental health symptoms or transition-related distress. Whether improving distress tolerance or coping strategies, building healthy relationships, healing from trauma, or strengthening self-worth, we will work collaboratively to identify effective methods that support your wellbeing.

My approach

Using a client-centered approach, you are supported in identifying and exploring your feelings and beliefs while enhancing your sense of self. I also use motivational interviewing to help identify any self-doubt and support your readiness for growth. Together, we will also work to improve distress tolerance and emotional regulation strategies.

My communication style

I utilize active listening and will support you in reflecting upon your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I find that open and direct communication is an effective approach in treatment while also utilizing empathy and validation. Providing a nonjudgmental space is also important, and you can expect me to remain compassionate.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path in the mental health field began with a desire to support others in enhancing resiliency and self-esteem while overcoming life's challenges. Witnessing others work through the discomfort of their adversities while gaining the confidence and skills to grow through their journey of healing is incredibly rewarding.
