I tend to have a calm, mellow, and warm environment and allow them to utilize the time with how they prefer and what they want to discuss.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have done therapy on and off throughout the time in which I was in my master's program, and once I graduated with my MSW, I immediately started doing therapy with domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. I then went on to work with children and families in the child welfare system and juvenile services system.

My goals for you

With a motivational interviewing approach, open-ended questions, reflective listening, and empowering the client to make the choice.

Our first session

They should expect us to utilize the time to get to know one another, increase rapport, comfort, and just start the process of getting to know what the client would like out of their time with me.
