My communication style

I want my clients to feel safe and know they are welcome to challenge and react without judgment from me. Know that there is no wrong way, only what works. I work with the truth, and so it can be challenging at times. I try to be funny; well, I like to say I am, and I am an open book as long as it assists in your treatment.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a therapist started in junior high school as a "Peer Counselor" helping friends at school maneuver through those tough teen years. Working with a wide variety of people, from teens and substance use to federal inmates, showed me the joy of therapy. I strive to assist others to learn who their real selves are.

My goals for you

I work with adults and couples, providing tools to meet appropriate and achievable goals anywhere from communication to increasing mood or setting boundaries, and identifying and managing depression and anxiety. I want to meet you where you are and help you strive to achieve!

Our first session

In our first session, I will provide information about myself, then gather more information about your story and expectations of me. We will discuss a diagnosis and how it was determined, and hopefully then you decide to make another appointment with me! :)
