My focus

I typically work with adults who are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, depression, and the effects of mild to moderate trauma. I’m most comfortable treating anxiety, relationship and communication issues, self-esteem, and clients who are working through difficult or painful past experiences.

My approach

I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and work toward meaningful change. I most often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care.

I use a warm yet candid tone while using active and empathetic listening to create a safe place for clients.

My journey to mental healthcare

I fell in love with psychology in undergrad, and it became a field where I felt most at home. What drives me in this work is being able to witness my clients push through, grow, and reclaim their strength; it truly fills my cup. It fuels the way I show up—direct, empathetic, and committed to helping them find realistic steps forward.

I use a collaborative approach. Goals are negotiated collaboratively, and the client is empowered to set their own goals for therapy.

Our first session

In our first session together, we'll start with introductions and the reason for seeking services at this time. We review intake documents and develop treatment plan goals; goals that you would like to work on with me in therapy. We will then begin building rapport by exploring different phases of your life and experiences that you may have had.
