My focus
I work with young, middle-aged, and older adults who find it difficult to manage difficult and uncomfortable emotions, navigate life changes, role changes, loss, and unhealed past trauma. We will develop coping skills in areas of concern and emotional regulation, develop self-worth, self-awareness, and healing.
My approach
I use dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) to help you manage difficult emotions and reshape your harmful thinking. My approach is straightforward and collaborative, giving you tools to feel more in control. I may also incorporate mindfulness and distress tolerance to support your progress.
