I've tried therapy a few times before, and it's never really worked out until I found Melissa. She's a gem, and even though I might feel raw or might need to take a breath after talking about my feelings for an hour, I always leave that one hour feeling better. I know I have someone I can count on for support. Not to mention, she also sends me stuff outside of that hour—resources, materials, reading, what have you—and that's pretty nice. I say this without even venturing into the depth of how nice, understanding, and comforting she is. She's by far the best professional I've had the pleasure to do therapy with, and if I keep at it, it's honestly because of her.
VERIFIED PATIENT TESTIMONIAL

Hi there, I'm Melissa!

Reaching out for therapy is a huge step, as therapy can be scary and also rewarding. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I support teens, adults, and couples who are struggling with life transitions, anxiety, and depression. My goal is to provide an empathetic and nonjudgmental space to support you on your personal growth journey.

My focus

I work with people from diverse backgrounds, providing support to those who experience anxiety, depression, and other difficult life transitions. Utilizing compassion and open communication, I support clients through the process of self-discovery.

My approach

I use an integrative and person-centered approach, providing compassion, empathy, and open communication. I utilize tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, teaching coping skills and actively encouraging and collaborating with you throughout the therapeutic process.
