My communication style

I am authentic and compassionate, and I listen with respect and curiosity. I work with you to clarify your concerns and symptoms and to create goals for treatment. I use metaphors and visuals to teach helpful concepts, and collaborate with you to identify your values, strengths, and support systems.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am genuinely curious about people and what makes them unique: what motivates them, what their relationships are like, what has influenced them, and what they love. I believe all individuals possess strengths, a desire for wholeness, and an inner Self that can be accessed for self-parenting and a positive self-concept.

My goals for you

I meet you where you are and collaborate with you to prioritize goals. I believe in the SMART goal model: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

Our first session

I'll explain the therapy process, limits of confidentiality, fees, and office policies. Then, most importantly, we'll get to know each other. I'm open to any questions you may have for me about my experience and background.
