My communication style

I strive to create a very open and safe environment where my clients feel comfortable sharing and expressing themselves. I believe my clients find me comforting and supportive. However, as a guide in the therapeutic process, I can be direct and serve as an accountability partner as well.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always desired to help others. Earlier in my career, I channeled this passion through several different social justice initiatives, community engagement, and policy advocacy. As time passed, I realized that while the big changes I was working for were needed and important, I found myself feeling drawn to more direct work.

My goals for you

I encourage my clients to be self-aware and explore what aspects of their lives or thought processes they would like to change, stretch, or address. Through this process, we work collaboratively to identify individualized goals.

Our first session

During our first session, clients should expect a conversational approach to assessing their presenting concerns and helping to provide a snapshot of who they are by sharing pertinent information about their history.
