My communication style

My communication style is client-centered and client empowerment-based. I enjoy working with people where they're at in life and helping them to accomplish their goals and work on the issues that they desire to make changes in their lives.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. This includes treatment for substance use disorders using a harm-reduction model, mental health disorders, dual diagnosis, and severe mental illness.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting by figuring out what each client truly desires as attainable goals they would like to work on. I approach the goal process with understanding, empathy, compassion, and a true belief that each one of us can make monumental changes in our lives that will benefit us and society greatly.

Our first session

During our first session, you can expect me to get to know you in a non-judgmental stance, and together we can gain clarity on what goals are most important to you to start with, and start coming up with a detailed plan to work on said goals.
