VERIFIED PATIENT TESTIMONIAL

Hi there, I'm Ivy!

My goal is to help clients of all ages uncover a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives while equipping them with practical skills to address anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and compulsions. I also have significant experience working with children and their families to address behavioral and relational challenges.

My focus

I best serve adolescents and young adults working to identify what they want out of life, who may be feeling lost or overwhelmed about the future. These clients often have symptoms of anxiety and depression and may be experiencing a life transition or identity crisis. I am comfortable working with suicidal ideation and self-harm.

My approach

I practice client-centered talk therapy, drawing from existential-humanistic, cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, family systems, and narrative therapy. When working with children, I also employ expressive arts and play therapy. I pay close attention to scientific research in the mental health field; evidence-based practice is important to me.
