My communication style is supportive, nurturing, and encouraging. I want my clients to feel comfortable and safe talking with me about anything. I tend to be energetic and often use humor.

My journey to mental healthcare

Ever since I was a child, I realized I wanted to work with people. When I got older, I realized I wanted to accomplish this by becoming a therapist. I have always been a supportive, encouraging, and nurturing person. Becoming a therapist allowed me to use these strengths to reach my goal of helping others.

My approach to goal setting is all about starting where the client is and working together to identify goals. The goals must be client-centered based on individual needs.

What you can expect from our first session together is for us to spend the majority of the time discussing what is bringing you to treatment. This will help us to begin to identify the areas in your life that you would like to see improved or changed. The first session is about building initial trust and a connection.
