Seeking therapy can be a daunting experience, but I am glad you are here. I am a strength-based therapist, and I am here to listen and help you navigate your obstacles to reach your desired goals. I specialize in mood disorders and anxiety and use a variety of modalities to fit your specific needs.

My focus

Have you been experiencing anxiety, stress, depressive symptoms, or maybe just stuck in a rut? I am here to help you work on your specific symptoms and create a treatment plan to meet your desired goals. My specialty is mood disorders and anxiety, but I also have experience with co-occurring disorders and personality disorders.

My approach

I use a variety of modalities, as no one size fits all. Some of the modalities I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, attachment theory, and motivational interviewing. We will work collaboratively to find the best approach to meet your desired goals.

I offer a space with a non-judgmental style of communication. I am open and honest and hope to be supportive in all aspects of your therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always wanted to be in a helping field, and my journey to becoming a therapist has been transformative. I began my career working with marginalized populations and have experience in acute and serious mental illness, forensics, as well as outpatient treatment.

We will work collaboratively to create a treatment plan that is catered to your specific needs. As we progress through the therapeutic process, you may notice that your goals and needs change, and together we will modify your plan to meet your new goals.

In our first session, we will get to know one another and identify what led you to therapy. We will review your background, as well as your goals for therapy. I understand that seeking therapy and finding the right therapist can be daunting, but I hope to build a rapport to create a strong therapeutic alliance with you.
