As a licensed Marital and Family Therapist in California with over 20 years of experience, I have worked as both a psychotherapist and life coach, helping clients navigate a wide range of concerns. These include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, creative blocks, low self-esteem, and physical and emotional trauma.
My approach
My approach to therapy combines elements of cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, mindfulness, self-inquiry, and solution-focused therapies. I tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I also hold an EMDR certification, which I utilize with about one-fourth of my clients.
My focus
I work with individuals and specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief, parenting issues, self-esteem, relationship issues, stress, trauma, PTSD, and panic attacks.
My communication style
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey in mental healthcare began with clinical hours at the Angeles Community Counseling Center in Monrovia, CA from June 1999 to April 2000. I then continued my clinical work at Emotional Change, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA from April 2000 to April 2006, where I completed my hours for licensure.
My goals for you
My goal is to provide you with a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we will work to identify and change patterns that may be holding you back, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. I aim to empower you with the tools and insights needed to lead a more fulfilling life.
