Hi there, I'm Mahsa!

My name is Mahsa Moradi. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist. I attended Antioch University Los Angeles and have been practicing mental health for 7 years. I specialize in depression, anxiety, and behavioral issues in children and adolescents.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is transparent and authentic. I assess what every client/individual's needs are so that I can provide the therapeutic relationship that my clients need.

My focus

I'm most comfortable treating clients with depression, anxiety, and symptoms of PTSD caused by trauma.

My communication style

My communication style is collaborative. I like to have conversations with my clients. I'm a great listener however I also like to give feedback.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always been curious about the human mind and behavior. I've always enjoyed people watching, understanding different cultures, and why people do what they do. I find it very rewarding to help others through their journey to grow and thrive in life.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting with clients collaboratively. I allow my clients to come up with their own goals while I'm there to support them narrow them down and take small steps to meet their goals so that the goals are sustainable

My first session with you

I focused on getting to know my clients and also allowing them to get to know me and feel comfortable. I focus on building rapport in the first couple of sessions.
