The choice of healing is not an easy journey. The difficult things that happen in life, which bring uncomfortable emotions and feelings, are valid and real. Healing doesn't happen overnight, but I believe with the right support, it is possible through education, connection, and understanding.
My focus
I work with people who struggle with grief, depressed mood, loss of interests, feelings of worthlessness, guilt, excessive worry, difficulty controlling worry, hopelessness, stress, and addiction. No matter how big the struggle, I am here to hold space for you and assist you through your healing process.
My approach
I use a person-centered approach to build connection and provide a safe space with unconditional positive regard. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected and provide tools to challenge your thoughts to foster healing.
