Hi there, I'm Danny!

I am a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor III (CADC III), and Licensed Social Worker (LSW). I have an extensive history of working with a diverse clientele, and specializes in providing culturally responsive therapy, which is person-centered and is strengths-based.

My focus

I specialize in working with individuals and families that are experiencing difficulties related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, processing disorders (i.e., OCD, eating disorders), sexuality, gender identity, personality disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD/ ADD, and family conflict.

My approach to therapy is focused on building strong therapeutic relationships that are collaborative and empowering. This provider continuously makes the intentional effort to create and maintain a safe environment that is non-judgmental and promotes self-growth.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been compassionate and empathetic, noticing when people were in some way, shape, or form suffering and feeling a calling to support them in their time of need. As I explored becoming a therapist, I developed an even deeper curiosity about human resilience and the desire to help others find strength through life’s hardest challenges.

In my experience, I have found that therapy is a partnership in which a therapeutic alliance is formed. Together, we’ll identify and set goals that matter to you, whether they focus on improving relationships, building self-esteem, or another personal objective. As we work together, your goals may evolve as you gain new insights.

Our first session

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another and start building rapport. We’ll discuss my approach to therapy, discuss what you feel comfortable disclosing about your background as a part of my assessment, and discuss what brings you to therapy.
