My focus

I work with parents, children, teens, and young adults facing challenges at home, school, or in relationships. I help families strengthen their bonds and improve communication. My focus includes supporting individuals with ADHD, Autism, and learning differences so they can thrive in all areas of life.

My approach

I teach parents how they can help their child, teen, or young adult thrive. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each parent, child, teen, and young adult. I most frequently use relationship therapy to build trust and strengthen the parent-child bond. I also use family therapy to facilitate communication.

My communication style

I am a good communicator and my communication style is direct. My communication style helps others feel seen and heard. I want my clients to feel safe emotionally so they can open up and share their lives with me. I am directive but also a great listener. My clients build trust with me quickly.

My journey to mental healthcare

I had school problems as a child due to unrecognized ADHD, Autism, and Learning differences. I chose to work with this population so others would not suffer like I did. As a therapist, I bring hope and awareness to individuals who struggle with Autism, ADHD, and Learning differences.

My goals for you

My first goal is to get to know you and start to build a relationship with you. After working with you and your family for six weeks, I make a treatment plan based on your personal needs and goals. We go over the plan together to collaborate about joint goals and outcomes at this time. Goals and outcomes are updated as needed as we move forward.

Our first session

I take a detailed history of the challenges that led you to seek therapy. I gather information about you and all the things you are currently struggling with. Using this time to get to know you helps me understand what you are going through and how I can help. This session is the first step to building a strong collaborative relationship.
