My communication style

I bring an honest, calm, and grounded presence to therapy. No matter the topic, I offer a nonjudgmental space where you can speak freely. I believe that positive language and resilience are powerful tools for creating meaningful change.

My journey to mental healthcare

I’m a Special Education teacher turned social worker, and I truly believe this is exactly where I’m meant to be. I’ve worked in a range of mental health programs with people of all ages, backgrounds, and learning and communication styles. I believe we’re all meant to keep learning, growing, and evolving throughout life.

My goals for you

I tend to ask thoughtful, in-depth questions during sessions so I can understand the full picture. This helps us identify specific barriers that may be getting in the way of your goals. I also take a deeper look at your environment—the people and places around you—and how they may be positively or negatively impacting your growth and success.

Our first session

During our first session, we’ll get to know each other and discuss your goals. I welcome any questions you may have, and I want you to feel comfortable every step of the way.
