Hi there, I'm Bahar!

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with over 7 years of experience. I have worked for community mental health agencies since my graduation in 2017, helping clients with a wide range of concerns.

My approach

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, Solution Focused therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

My focus

I have worked with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, physical/emotional abuse, and trauma. I am willing to see individuals and minors aged 13-17.

My communication style

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating each individual with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

My journey to mental healthcare

I earned my MA degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. To complete my clinical hours for licensure, I worked at Strength United from January 2016 to November 2017, and at San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center, Inc. from March 2018 to June 2021.

My goals for you

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. I am here to support and empower you through this journey.

My first session with you

I look forward to working with you! In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to share your story.
