We live in a demanding era in which the choices and pressures of everyday life can be overwhelming, causing both interpersonal and intrapersonal conflict. Therapy is the process of change, generating self-affirming thought patterns towards a hopeful and resilient future, a centered and balanced life.
My approach
I offer a person-centered, strengths-based approach directed by the needs of the individual. I utilize Mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused, and Narrative Therapy in my interactions with clients. Therapeutic techniques vary depending on the individual.
My focus
I am willing to see individuals, couples, families, and minors (ages 13-17). My specialties include treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting issues, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, and issues related to pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum.
My communication style
I engage in direct, transparent communication, creating a safe space for open dialogue. My approach is collaborative and non-judgmental, adapting my communication to your unique needs. I listen closely to understand your perspective, offering reflections and insights to facilitate self-discovery and growth.
My goals for you
Every person is interesting, and I enjoy the journey of discovery, increasing insight, and finding solutions. I recognize that people are incredibly unique and have freedom of choice in all aspects of lifestyle, personal relationships, and family arrangements.
My first session with you
I deeply respect each person and their choices. In our first session, my focus will be on getting to know you and understanding your unique needs, so we can begin our therapeutic work together in an atmosphere of trust and collaboration.
