Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. Over the past 20 years, I have developed a therapeutic approach that is humanistic, strength-based, and trauma-informed.
My approach
My approach to therapy is humanistic, strength-based, and trauma-informed. I believe that all people are capable of change and healing. Each of us possesses unique strengths and harbors courage that, when reclaimed, can provide a path to the hope, peace, and happiness that we deserve.
My focus
I specialize in treating complex trauma, chronic and severe mental illness, grief and loss, LGBTQ+. I am willing to see all adults and minors aged 13-17.
My communication style
I communicate with empathy, directness, and respect. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and validated. I tailor my approach to your unique needs, drawing upon my experience in trauma-informed care.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to mental healthcare included clinical hours for licensure from July 2009 to August 2014 at Victor Treatment Centers. I continued to provide services as an ASW from August 2014 to January 2024 at Stockton Children's Home and Harper Medical Group (CONREP) in Sacramento, CA
