I help people heal from their past and reclaim themselves to determine how they want to live, think, and experience their future according to their potential and purpose.

My focus

I work with people navigating past setbacks and pain. After reflecting and understanding the past with adult perspectives, we discover how to fill missing pieces and create strength-based goals to embrace your potential, purpose, and what you want in your present and future.

My approach

I provide strength-based and solution-focused care tailored to your uniqueness—family, faith, culture, interests, personality, worldview. I use evidence-based treatments like EMDR for trauma, Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Mindfulness-based practices to support you through life's challenges and past pain.

My communication style

I use down-to-earth language and straightforward honesty. I'm not as tough as a drill sergeant or as soft as a kindergarten teacher—I treat grown folks as such and hold you accountable toward your goals with grace and compassion. Sessions are informal and judgment-free so you can openly share thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

My own painful experiences with loss, disappointment, personal and professional challenges, and family and faith issues inspired me to help others overcome and get support.

My goals for you

Goal setting is a collaborative conversation. The speed and intensity of treatment are determined together and amended throughout sessions. Coping strategies, goals, and treatments are cultivated from your active role and participation in the care plan.

Our first session

First sessions assess your needs—whether validation, understanding, answers, or reassurance. We get comfortable with one another and hash out a plan to address the issues you came in with. My delivery is straight up in determining challenges with empathy while empowering you using your strengths and collaboratively strategizing symptom relief.
