You can expect me to be warm, attentive, and direct in a supportive way. I prioritize active listening and open communication, making space for your voice in every session. Clients often share that they feel both supported and gently challenged, which helps them gain new insights while knowing they're not alone.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into mental health care is deeply personal. As a young mother who lost the father of my children to gang violence, I navigated life with little guidance. Growing up as the daughter of first-generation immigrants in the inner city, I witnessed substance use, violence, and community struggles.

My goals for you

I view therapy as a partnership. Together, we'll identify goals that matter most to you—whether building self-esteem, improving relationships, reducing anxiety, or healing from trauma. As your journey evolves, we'll revisit and adjust these goals. I'll provide tools you can carry beyond therapy.

Our first session

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your background, current concerns, and what you hope to gain. It's normal to feel nervous. My role is to guide you one step at a time and ensure you feel safe and supported.
