My goal is to help guide you on this self-journey to healing.

My focus

I have an extensive background in working with children and first-generation Latinx clients and families. The areas of focus I have worked with are depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma.

My approach

I strive to meet each person where they are. I find that a person-centered approach and a psychodynamic approach are a good start to dig deep and find the root of anyone's struggles. I use CBT, DBT, and EFT if appropriate and needed to target specific needs.

My communication style

I aim to create a safe and judgment-free environment to ensure clients are able to express themselves in any way they may need to process their thoughts and feelings.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been a listener and intrigued by each person's unique stories. I grew up in an environment where emotions were always high, and found that if I had someone willing to listen to my story, it brought some peace; therefore, I enjoy being that person for others as well.

In order to better ensure improvement in their healing journey, I encourage clients to have a measurable goal we can look back on.

Our first session

During the first session, we will discuss the main concerns and struggles and go through a psychosocial assessment to better understand where the client is at.
