I specialize in psychotherapy and trauma work, helping clients navigate their most challenging and distressing memories. My focus is on supporting you through difficult experiences with warmth and expertise.

I work with individuals struggling with anxious thoughts, self-doubt, low self-esteem, trauma, or depression. Together we'll develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. You'll learn to identify and validate your feelings, differentiate rational from irrational thoughts, and take proactive action toward personal growth.

My approach

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you identify cognitive distortions and maladaptive patterns, then construct healthier behaviors. This hands-on approach provides tools to accept accountability and take control of your life. Based on your needs, I may incorporate mindfulness practices.

My communication style

I value clear, direct, and open communication to create a healthy partnership. I aim to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment each session through active listening. If we encounter difficult issues, expect me to challenge you to work through them with my full support and unconditional positive regard.

My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up witnessing my parents provide support to new arrivals, I became a professional helper myself. The field of mental health, especially therapy, continues to be my passion.

Our first session

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another. We'll discuss your background and what brings you to therapy. New clients tend to be nervous, but that's completely normal. Others are just happy to have taken this step. Whatever your case, we'll take it one session at a time, and I'll be there to cheer you on.
