Hi there, I'm Nicole!

My goal as a therapist is to help you learn and figure out who you are through education and building insight. I specialize in working with adults struggling with identity, addiction, interpersonal relationships, personality disorders, attachment issues, depression, and anxiety. I believe everyone has the strength to overcome any issue.

My focus

I love working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, comorbid diagnoses, personality disorders, and unhealthy coping mechanisms. Life can be so hard, especially if you feel alone in it. I want to be that light for people who feel that they are enveloped in darkness.

My approach

I employ a warm, comforting, strengths-based approach with motivational interviewing. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as my primary approach. It is fascinating how we subconsciously build behaviors and reactions based on past treatment, and CBT helps with building self-awareness and insight.

My communication style

The concept of unconditional love is very important to my practice. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free, and kind environment so that we both feel comfortable communicating with each other. The ability to admit that you are ready to seek therapy is difficult enough. I want to help you feel as confident as possible in your decision.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have struggled with my own demons and negative feelings. Education is my passion, and I utilize therapeutic interventions to educate others on building insight, awareness, and recognizing that life does not have to be as scary as it seems.

During the first session, I ask: What is your history with therapy, and what brings you to therapy today? With that conversation starter, we will dive into identifying goals that you may have and hopefully speak about personal history if you find yourself feeling comfortable enough.
