I like to create a space for my clients that fosters respect and understanding as well as support and accountability. Working with me will feel empowering and motivating.

My journey to mental healthcare

I knew I wanted to be a therapist when I was 12 years old, inspired by my grandmother’s work as a psychologist. That passion led me to become a peer counselor in high school, and I have now dedicated over 16 years to working in the mental health field. What drives me every day is the privilege of helping people discover their own inner strength.

Treatment goals are client-driven and frequently reassessed to maintain optimal results.

Our first session

In the first session, I will review basic policies, gather information to assess what we will be working on, and allow my clients to get a feel for whether we are a good fit. I will review the stages of therapy and what to expect from future sessions, as well as my style of therapy and how we will approach your concerns.
