Hi! My name is Stephanie Hon. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed professional clinical counselor.
My approach
I enjoy utilizing acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma resiliency model (TRM), and Gottman Method with my clients.
My focus
I enjoy working with young adults and adults dealing with anxiety, stress, and interpersonal relationship issues.
My communication style
I believe in working therapeutically from a place of compassionate and gentle straightforwardness. My clients know me as empathetic, caring, and supportive.
My journey to mental healthcare
What attracted me to a career as a therapist was my passion for helping others. I enjoy helping, honoring, collaborating, and assisting my clients in alleviating their symptoms and accomplishing their goals.

In regard to setting goals with my clients, I do so through a collaborative approach.
My first session with you
The first session is an intake assessment. During the intake assessment, we will discuss background information, understand your presenting problems, build rapport, and formulate goals for therapy.
