I am Sharon Jones, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana and raised in the rural area of Coushatta, my early life was shaped by humble beginnings.

My journey to mental healthcare
My journey into mental healthcare began when I traveled from Louisiana to San Francisco with just a handful of change, seeking a better life. This experience ignited my passion to serve others. Over the past 30 years, I have gained extensive experience in behavioral healthcare, working with diverse populations including children in residential treatment, adults and children in outpatient mental health services, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, foster youth, individuals experiencing homelessness, adults with disabilities, those with health issues, and patients in inpatient psychiatric care.
